Iran is ready to restart nuclear talks with the United States as long as it is handled with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's foreign minister has stated.

The Iranian diplomat said solely negotiations produced results, and disclosed recent overtures had come from intermediaries to resume negotiations with the US government. He asserted Iran possessed no secret atomic facilities, and Tehran could not yet permit the global atomic watchdog to access struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Navigating a Difficult Course

Araghchi is navigating a challenging path since Iran does not want appear to be operating from a position of vulnerability, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more resilient defensively and emotionally from the joint assault on its nuclear sites in June.

The Tehran's diplomatic corps has been accused of passivity in the wake of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Iran asserts negotiations is not part of a spectacle.
